This antique, circa 1900, Khotan rug has a steel-blue field with delicate floral vine around seven rectangular panels containing polychrome fields each with a central angular bold flowering plant, the polychrome arches above scattered with small flowerheads, in a golden-yellow border of angular flowerheads and serrated leaf vine, outer chocolate-brown and shaded purple reciprocal part-lozenge stripe.
