This antique Malayer rug has a charcoal-blue field with an overall design of sandy-yellow angular serrated leaf and floral vine together with brick-red palmettes, in a broad sandy-yellow border with brick-red and light blue palmettes linked by meandering serrated leaf vine and alternating with a buff-brown smaller flowerhead between brick red floral vine stripes, inner brick-red and sandy-yellow reciprocal skittle-pattern stripe.
