This antique, circa 1900, Khotan runner has a field with a pair of linked stepped lozenges with central buff-brown lozenges surrounded by an ivory and terracotta lozenges with flowerheads and an outer shaded chocolate-brown lozenge with small floral motifs, the mole-grey field with small floral motifs with ivory part-lozenges at each side and end each with similar floral motifs, in a border of chocolate-brown and mole-grey reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, outer buff-brown angular floral vine stripe.
