This Khotan rug has an ivory field with a vase at each end issuing an angular floral arrangement flanked by stylized flowering plants, hooked motifs and flowerheads around a central shaded blue roundel with a central rosette issuing a variety of pomegranates, the key-pattern spandrels in each corner, in a broad shaded taupe border of chocolate-brown and light blue cloud motifs alternating with a floral lozenge and a chocolate-brown support, between dusty-pink rosette and plain stripes.
