This antique, circa 1920, Karadja runner has an ivory field with a column of five lozenges, the central dusty-pink and charcoal-blue stepped lozenge issuing elongated floral stems containing a central smaller lozenge surrounded by delicate floral motifs above and below a pair brick-red hooked lozenge each with a central brick-red lozenge flanked by polychrome floral vine stripes, a further pair of charcoal-blue stepped and hooked lozenges at each end with a central floral lozenge issuing angular dusty-pink vine with a floral motif in each corner, in a narrow charcoal-blue border of angular ribbon and flowerhead vine between brick-red dot motif and plain stripes.
